Hi Ian!

I was thinking of you last night when that 6.1 earthquake hit! (Considering what happened in Jamaica after you left) That was quite a rumble, no? What a day! A volcano and an earthquake! I think Costa Rica gave you two quite a powerful send-off indeed!

Happy and safe travels as you continue your amazing quest and thanks for letting us show you two a bit of Costa Rica, we had a blast my friend!

Hi Ian!
With all due respect, I'd like to say that I don't think that you have achieved goal #88 : workplace romance.
I realize that you're having an amazing time in Jamaica, and I believe that the romance is real...It's just that I don't buy the workplace thing.
You can always keep trying, though!!
Keep on having fun!!

Hi Ian,

So glad you're back in our neck of the woods again! It's nice knowing you are around because you bring a huge smile to my face! Meeting you was a real treat for us and we SO look forward to seeing you again and helping out!

We REALLY want you to join us down in Costa Rica so we can show you that beautiful little country ourselves! We know it intimately well and know you will not be disappointed! Besides, I'll act as your personal photographer while we're there so you won't have to worry about capturing the trip as it unfolds, I will happily do that for you my friend!!!!

Please update your blog about Tampa soon, my mouth is watering to hear ALL the details!!!! wink, wink!!!!

See ya soon! xo

Jelene!

hi ian
wow...ur story is amazing. u have done amazing things with all the chances you have had in life. its been good to see and hear what you have done.
i have also travelled the world, swam wiv dolphins & sharks...seen australia, israel, africa, america, europe....england....its all amazing...and i've acheived loads of my goals too....its a good feeling. and one of my ambitions is to write...and thats what i am doing now....writing various books which will be published within the next 18 months...
but what i have learnt is that if we can live with ourselves and be happy and settled with what we have ...life will always be good.
i have 4 children now and suffered a marrage breakdown...lost my house and all my savings ...and had cancer too...yet i like you...got back on my feet and kept on going...living life for my children and me.
and what i realise is that money brings no happiness......only contentment with ones self and ones situation does.

me and my children only have each other and thats perfect ...all my lifes memories are wonderful...like yours you have amazing stories for your children...and good luck to you.
life is what we make it....and being possitive and happy inside will always get us through.

Hi. I remember your story on Ebay and am amazed at what you have done with your life since. You have done so much most of us can only dream of doing. I too want children, one day, i am only 20 but have big aspirations for my life including opening a day care facility but i want to visit places and do interesting challenges as you did. I used to help out a scout group so have done the survival side of things, though i still prefer my basic creature comforts e.g. my bed and electricity! I would love to visit the GrandCanyon and sail from the Cape of Good Hope to the UK. I hope your life turns out okay when you settle down and have a family. You would be a great husband and father and have lots of stories to tell your children and grandchildren. I wish you every sucess in completing your goals and finally your life journey.

I'd be 'hunting' you down to marry you if I only wanted more children. I have one and am too old at 46 for anymore. He is the apple of my eye and I see that all the travel in the world can't make us happy forever. Loving someone does. I've done my share of travels and adventures from being a mechanic , a bricklayer to being a model for a sculptur in Cairns,( The sculpture is in the foyer of the Hilton in Cairns.) to living with nuns in Paris. Now I am a foreigner living in the u.k. I ended my marriage when in turmoil with myself which is something I have regretted recently. Maybe we all make mistakes and that's life. Something positive can me made out of it as you did. You are an inspiration ! All the best.
